First and foremost, the resurrection of Jesus was proclaimed by His disciples publicly to people who were witnesses and in some cases perpetrators of His crucifixion. Had they not believed it to be true, they would not have dared to proclaim it. And had the other side had the means to disprove it, they would have done so.
